With a range of fun and unique dates, relaxing dates, dates with little to no cost involved, and even fancy options for those special occasions, there are date plans for every type of couple to enjoy within every edition of our Newsletter.
Date Plan ① - Pics & Proof
Chattanooga has a brand new Selfie Museum that just opened and offers a variety of different selfie rooms and walls that are perfect for an afternoon of fun together - plus you get great pics with your person! (Be sure to tag us, @TheDatingInitiative - we can’t wait to see you!)

Date Plan ② - Hiking & Fall Foliage

This date plan combines the beauty of changing foliage with a refreshing opportunity to get moving together out in the crisp autumn air. Hit the trails for our peak week of fall and enjoy quality conversation along the journey with your person as you meander through hues of Tennessee orange and maple red.
P.s Don’t forget the hiking snacks in case you and your date get the munchies along the way!
Check out Enterprise South Nature Park for an easy-to-moderate hike, or venture over to Cloudland Canyon for more of a challenge (and impressive views).
Date Plan ③ - See Lookout Mountain in Autumn
If a hiking date is not your best fit, but you love the idea of autumn hues and taking in the foliage with your person, then a visit to Sunset Point followed by dinner at Cafe on the Corner may be a more attractive option for you. With a breathtaking overlook and a short walk to Sunset Point, you’ll still get to take in the sights with an easy stroll together instead of a climb up the mountain. Then enjoy dinner with a view from the cafe nestled on the top of Lookout Mountain.
To get to Sunset Point via a short nature walk instead of the hiking trail, use the lot at the address 405 W Brow Rd Lookout Mountain, TN 37350. The walk to the lookout takes about 5 minutes and is a little rocky with an incline, so wearing flat shoes is advised.
Date Plan ④ - Coffee + a Good Book
What’s more cozy on a brisk autumn day than cuddling up with your person and a warm cup of coffee, good book in hand? With the brand new opening of The Book and Cover, a relaxing visit to the bookstore, strolling between the bookshelves, and gazing at the pages with your person can become an adorable reality.
Grab a BOGO coffee at Be Caffeinated (Recent recipient of Chattanooga’s Startup of the Year Award) on your way to the bookstore and sip on a Chattahooligan - my personal favorite - as you wander the aisles together. Skim the titles as you stroll or choose a novel to read and enjoy the the quality time together.
